We are going to set up a massive advent calendar in the school hall, using books rather than chocolate.
Throughout November all children must try to read 3 times per week and have their reading record signed at home to show they have done this.
If they do, each week they will have their names put into a box for the possibility of being chosen to open a 'day' on our book advent calendar during the month of December. Chosen children will be able to take home the book of the day to keep forever.
Remember too that any child can bring in a book from home on any day of the week and swap it in the Reading Rinaldo Book Swap Club.
