How do I contact staff and who will answer my queries?
Our staff are always willing to help. Everyday queries can be sent to the class teachers via our communication app called Classdojo, which all parents are expected to subscribe to, free of charge. All other queries can be sent to the school via our email address info@drighlingtonprimary.org.uk. This email account is monitored by Mrs Anne Reynolds, who will try to answer queries as quickly as possible and may refer them to another member of staff who is best suited to resolve the matter.

Teacher Training Opportunities
Looking to train to be a teacher? Exceed SCITT is part of Exceed Teaching Schools Alliance in Bradford and, as an accredited provider can recommend you for the award of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). In addition we have an established partnership with Leeds Trinity University who deliver the Post Graduate Certificate of Education enabling you to graduate to a PGCE with QTS.
We work in collaboration with thirteen local schools, led by Westerton Primary School, to provide School direct initial teacher training. The schools are committed to joint collaborative working and have a long history of delivering successful school based teacher training. There is a 100% track record of students who complete their training moving into the teaching profession, many within our partnership schools.
