Our Vision, Mission and Code of Conduct

We firmly believe in our motto - nurturing, supporting, believing, achieving. These four words encapsulate our vision.  The positive team spirit in our school promotes children’s self-esteem and their enthusiasm for learning.  We have developed a curriculum  with intent to meet the needs of all children and to prepare them for the next stage in their lives. Learning experiences are enhanced by stimulating lesson, including visits and visitors. Every child is valued as an individual, praised and rewarded for their achievements. We believe that providing a safe and happy environment for children, staff, families and visitors is essential.  We have systems in place to promote this, including safeguarding and clear procedures for rewards and sanctions. We regularly communicate achievements with families in a range of ways.

Governors and School Leaders understand the school, have a clear vision and lead by example. We expect everyone to show respect for each other all of the time and this includes all adults. We do not tolerate violent, rude or aggressive behaviour and will take action against any person who does not follow our code of conduct. Where adults behave in an inappropriate manner, the school may seek legal support and consider legal action.

As advised by the government, school will stay open for children of key workers when there is no-one else at home to look after their children, and for some vulnerable children.  We are also open for N, R, Y1 and Y6 from the 8th June. As things change, we will keep all families updated by email, Twitter, etc, including guidance on home learning. We would like to thank our families for their support during this difficult time and look forward to welcoming all children back into school as soon as possible. If families have queries they should email  via:
