We wish everyone a Happy New Year.
We hope that everyone had a very special Christmas and enjoyed their family time. Whilst this is always a memorable time of year, we look forward to getting back into normal routines on Monday the 6th January 2020, when school opens for the first day of the new year.
One of our key targets has not changed - we hope to see children reading for pleasure much more often at home and in school. We remind everyone that children can bring into school their own reading books and swap them in the Reading Rinaldo Book Swap Corner in the school hall. Children can do this as often as they wish and on any day of the school week.
Let's make 2020 the best ever year of reading, so that our children develop wider vocabulary and realize how much we can gain from books.
