We have reached that time of year when we think it is important that each family has dedicated time to talk to teachers about how their child has settled into their new class.
To ensure this is done safely, teachers will make telephone calls to the main parent or carer of each child, rather than having meetings in school. Teachers will need a period of several weeks to be able to contact every parent. They will start the calls from the 8th November and aim to have spoken to everyone by the 26th November. To support the teachers, please be mindful that they have many calls to make and try to keep to ten-minute timings.
Teachers will make calls between 9am and 6pm, dependent upon times when their class can be covered. If families have limited times when they can be contacted, they should let the class teacher know by ClassDojo and we will try to accommodate requests.
During these meetings, the focus of these appointments will be well-being and attitude to learning. We hope that everyone will be pleased to hear how well their child is doing.
