Nut allergy in school

20 July 2020 (by admin)

Food containing nuts must be avoided at all times.

Please be aware we will have a child in school in September who has a severe nut allergy. We have had a no-nut policy for a long time, but it is now more important than ever that we remind everyone how dangerous nuts can be when a person has a nut allergy.

Please support us by thinking about how you can prepare packed lunches that do not contain nuts. Over the summer break, take a few moments when you shop to explore the products you usually put in packed lunches. If they contain nuts, start to think about different alternatives so that you are prepared for September.

If we all do this, we will know that our school is safe for everyone. Thank you.
