Information Communication Technology (ICT)
We aim to equip pupils with the knowledge and skills appropriate to an increasingly complex technological age. We recognize the value of ICT as a subject in its own right and its power as a cross-curricular educational resource. We aim for children to use ICT equipment and software purposefully and confidently to communicate and handle information, solve problems and support their recording. All classes have interactive whiteboards and at least one computer. Children are timetabled to make regular visits to our ICT suites. We teach e-safety and ensure that access to the internet is authorized by our local authority.
For our E-Safety Policy please see our policies page of the website.
